Sophos Security Day Belgium 2017
Tuesday 14th of November 2017 the Sophos Security Day Belgium 2017 took place in The Kruitfabriek in Vilvoorde. On this inspiring day a nice line up of speakers presented to Sophos partners and end-users. With almost 200 visitors (partners en end-users) again we can speak of growth compared to last year’s Sophos Security Day.
Welcome
Visitors were welcomed at the entrance by our hostesses, Pepper the robot and their favorite song when they checked in. A good start of the event.
Presentations
In the morning there was a special program for our partners with two break-out sessions. Break-out 1: What is a vulnerability (Jerco Veltjen) and break-out 2: Sophos Central Partner Dashboard (Lars Putteneers). After lunch end-users were welcomed and we had four more presentations on Synchronized Security with XG Firewall (Chris McCormack), GDPR (Vincent Vanbiervliet), Deep Dive on the Dar Web – live demo (John Shier) and Introducing Machine Learning into Intercept X (Lars Putteneers)

New XG Firewall V17
During our Sophos Security Day Belgium we also had our new XG firewall on display. Truly a Next-Gen Firewall.
Distributors
During our Sophos Security Day Belgium we had our distributors taking part in the activity. Exclusive Networks, OzOos and Tech Data all had their own branded column in the venue.
