I think the conversation about the printer hack is looking in the wrong direction. The way it was done was a prime example of ethical hacking, or a free penetration testing consultancy. This is how it should be interpreted. He didn’t steal files, even though he could have. He didn’t set the laser printer drums in maintenance mode and burned down offices, although he could have. He passed an advertisement that would catch attention, and pointed to the fact that there is a vulnerability that needs fixing. 10/10 IMO.
