We’re at Mobile World Congress 2018 and ready to unveil Sophos Mobile 8.

Barcelona in the springtime: there’s so many reasons to want to visit this beautiful city. But, if you’re like us, the highlight this time of year is the annual gathering for Mobile World Congress, where thousands of companies and professionals gather to network, talk shop and reveal the latest, greatest offerings in mobile technology. And this year we’re especially looking forward to the event with the unveiling of Sophos Mobile 8.

We’re adding a whole host of new features that will make securing your devices and endpoints even easier. Here are a few highlights:

Unified Endpoint Management (UEM). This lets admins manage both traditional and mobile devices from the same console, and makes Sophos Mobile 8 the world’s first UEM solution to be integrated natively in a leading, next-gen, endpoint security platform.

Easy Mac management. You can now manage your macOS computers in the same console you manage your Windows, iOS and Android devices. In fact, managing your Macs is easier than ever, with a wide range of settings for managing and controlling your Macs centrally. What’s more, the self-service portal makes enrolling Macs fuss-free for employees who want to bring their own Macs to work.

Windows 10 app management. This lets admins install, remove and manage apps remotely on laptops, tablets and desktops. The new Windows app store allows you easily organize and manage apps. And, endpoint compliance is easier with automatic remediation in the case of a violation.

Even more Android management. We’ve made controlling Android devices for work even easier. The new “device owner” management mode gives admins control during the initial setup of a device. Whether corporate-owned or BYOD, these new options offer better levels of control than ever.

Check out the latest usability enhancements and improved workflow through the updated management console, with revised device status and enrollment processes. The Sophos Mobile Security for Android app now also gives you improved visibility of scan results and better handling of low-reputation app detection.

Plus, we’ve extended the management capabilities across all platforms, including additional policy restrictions.
