Ad Blockers are great for those of us who never click on adverts. Why online newspapers such as The Telegraph here in Blighty think it’s acceptable to plaster an overlay across the entire browser viewport preventing use is beyond belief. There are articles in newspaper I would never visit, never mind read. So why should I be forced to see adverts I would never use? It makes no difference if The Telegraph considers them to be “high quality”, they are still a nuisance and of no use, taking up viewport space and my bandwidth. That’s why folks like me use ad blockers. Simple. In modern parlance: you know, like, duh! They’ve lost a reader.
