For the second year in a row, Channelnomics has named Sophos Security Vendor of the Year for its ability to meet and overcome today’s challenges, like the rise of ransomware and constantly growing digital needs of organizations and end users.
The annual event took place at Convene in New York, highlighting outstanding work by solution providers, distributors, and vendors.
“In order to be a truly innovative security vendor in today’s channel, a company must be focused on enabling partners to differentiate themselves and sell-in security solutions while also driving new opportunities with the latest next-generation technology,” Channelnomics wrote. “For these reasons, the Channelnomics Innovation Awards (CIAs) chose Sophos for its coveted Security Vendor of the Year Award.”
John Keenan, Sophos regional vice president of sales, Americas, was on hand to receive the award. Also in attendance were Chris Garner, channel account executive, and Mike Graves, channel sales engineer.
Not only is Sophos able to meet today’s challenges – with the launch of Intercept X and the addition of deep learning to its next-gen endpoint protection, Channelnomics said, Sophos is poised to meet the future head on as well.
Overall, Sophos has shown leadership in partner enablement and next-generation security technologies that protect against an always-changing threat landscape. For the second consecutive year, Sophos has proven to the CIAs that it is worthy of the title of Security Vendor of the Year.
