New features available in PureMessage for UNIX v6.1

puremessageWe’re pleased to announce the availability of PureMessage for UNIX v6.1, including a number of new enhancements you – our customers and partners – have requested.

Of course, we encourage you to keep your PureMessage infrastructure up to date. Updating to the latest version gets you all the new features and technology improvements.

If you’re still running v5, we advise you to review the Getting Started Guide and plan your move to v6 at your earliest opportunity.

This new version includes the following enhancements:

  • Support for Postfix 2.10 making it easier to search and analyze log messages
  • Upgrade to PostgreSQL 9.3 supporting streaming replication and hot stand-by features
  • Database error handling improvements to help detect crashes or errors and alert administrators in the event of a problem
  • Option to display the offensive word or attachment to allow administrators to easily find the reason for quarantined messages

If you’re new to PureMessage for UNIX, it’s our carrier-grade message security platform that provides robust, powerful, and flexible email security in an open platform ideal for large enterprises and ISPs.
