Sophos Security Day Belgium 2016
On November 15th 2016 we organized our fifth edition of Sophos Security Day Belgium in de Kruitfabriek in Vilvoorde. With over 150 people attending we can look back on a very successful day. The day is a great networking opportunity for Sophos, our partners, distributors, customers, prospective partners and prospective customers – basically anyone who wants to learn more about cybersecurity and the Sophos products.
Inspiring, educational and informative
During the day there were four presentations held by different Sophos experts. All the presentations are online and available for downloading.
Chris McCormack got to start the day with his presentation on what’s cooking in NSG; a look at Sophos XG Firewall and Network Security Developments. After Chris Mark Loman entered the stage with a dazzling presentation on Intercept X, the latest signatureless solution against ransomware, exploits, zero-days and more.
After the break it was time for our very own Lars with the Hiddem Gems of Sophos. Lars pointed out some Sophos solutions which aren’t always that well known, but are definitely a valuable addition to maintain your complete security portfolio. John Shier got the honor of closing the day with his presentation on the IT Security landscape and the latest trend and threats out there. What’s coming in 2017 and where do you have to pay attention to.
