“We’re sorry, but our password database has been breached. Please change your fingerprints as soon as possible.”

I use AppLock on my android phone so I can lock the apps which I don’t want people to go into. I have a pattern I have to draw before I can access the apps. I can’t believe this type of app is not standard on the phone. I resisted putting my main email app on my phone for a long time as if someone got my phone as accessed my email, they could do some damage in my life. This app gives me some peace of mind. I also use the Google authenticator for sites that let me set up it. I wish more sites had this option.

The problem is not enough sites offer 2FA. Small business websites are the worst. More sites should use google or facebook to secure their websites. Perhaps government should regulate to require 2FA on all consumer facing websites.

What the dancing banana forgot to mention was that all of this does not matter if the government decides they want to access your accounts in the name of ~”counter terrorism” – who needs 2FA if the government insist on back doors!!!!
