I give classes in computer security and recommend that Mac users download the free Sophos software. I can’t say if people in the class actually download it, but they seem to be interested in it. I tell them I use the Windows version, and that it does not have nag screens, runs well (does not slow down the computer) and blocks suspicious sites. What more could you want in an AV program.
