Last week I removed a FakeSysdef virus variant from a customer’s computer. The woman, in her 60’s, assured me that she had not gone to a “bad” website. I told her that it did not make a difference, legitimate sites can infect your computer, as with the TV chef whose site had multiple problems last year.
